Grants and International Studies

The Department of Musicology cooperates with universities in Germany, Ireland, France, Finland, Poland, and Slovakia within the Erasmus framework. The opportunity to study in a foreign country is offered for one or two semesters, at the following institutions:

Universität Leipzig
Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg
Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber, Dresden
National University of  Ireland Maynooth
Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences
Uniwersytet Jagielloński, Krakow
Univerzita Komenského, Bratislava
Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Étienne

Work internships through the Erasmus program are designed individually according to the student's specialization and language skills (eg. at the Czech Centre in London, art agencies in Vienna and Berlin, work experience in foreign universities). Other offers of scholarships and grants for foreign studies are handled by the records department of the FF UP at the Dean's office and the Department of International Relations at the Rector's Office in Olomouc. The Department of Musicology has since 2012 been involved in the university project ‘Creation of a Quality Management System for International Student Placements at UP.’
